Find a Job in Singapore Through Agency

Dear Friends...

I know two Agencies that can help you land a job here in Singapore. One Agency is offering a Salary Deduction Scheme but would need you to be a College Graduate (min 4-Year Course) for S-Pass working Visa application. The good thing about this is that you don't need to produce a huge amount of money to secure a job only your air ticket which is more affordable now that we have budget airlines. The other one needs a SGD500 security deposit non-refundable.But they will only ask for this when there are offers and a sure post. They will ask you to sign the agreement after receiving the money so that they can process the rest of your paper. The balance of SGD3000 will then be paid when you arrive in Singapore. This Agency requires a non-degree holder/2-yr course graduate under Work Permit Visa. The Salary will range from 1200-2000 or more depending on the position. Some jobs offer free food and housing like waiters and cooks. But some would just offer food. Pls check my other posts regarding Living expenses in Singapore.

In a nutshell, room rental can range from SGD400-600 for commom room single occupancy. Its more practical to share a room for SGD200-300 per month. For food, if you are going to eat out it would cost you SGD3-4.00 per meal. Transportation varies depending on how far and transfers it would require you to reach your work place.But it could average to about SGD5.00 for a two-way trip. This gives you an idea on how to calculate your monthly budget for food,rent and fare allowance and helps you decide if the salary offered is enough.
