Its always a challenge to create the perfect Birthday Party for your precious little one. Your creativity kicks in when you think of how special your child would feel given a uniquely themed Birthday Party.
I discovered this shop a few years ago when my daughter persisted that we visit this shop at Plaza Singapura and get a Bear for her and her little sister. The Build-A-Bear Workshop store concept is centered on a child's imagination. It's like getting a pet, grooming it and dressing it up, all decisions are made by your child.
The whole process is really fun from beginning to end. The child gets to choose a Bear or any animal, stuff it on her own using the machine, deciding how cuddly she wants it to be. Then before sealing it off, a heart is inserted in after your child makes a wish and kisses it. Its grooming time after, and the best part dressing up your new bestfriend! You can choose from a wide range of tops, dresses, bottoms, shoes and accessories. The last step is choosing a name for your bear and printing a birth certificate. Now you're off to go carrying your new bear in a house shaped box.
It was such a fun experience that I asked a staff if they accommodate birthday parties and events there. And I was not disappointed. They cater for any occassion, be it for the young or young at heart. For Birthday parties, the package starts from $24.90 and can be adjusted to any amount you are willing to spend per party guest. The basic price includes a bear, pink/blue shirt, a designated party host that will take care of the party games and the whole process I mentioned above. The party can last 1 to 1-1/2 hours depending on the group size, minimum of 6 guests. Now you can just sit back and watch the fun and take lots of photos!
Once you have decided on your invitees and celebration date, you can make your reservation and place a 50% deposit. It must be done 7 days prior to the party date. Cancellation can be done 5 days before the party date for a full refund.
You have to make arrangements for the reception at another venue. Since the Build-A-Bear shops are located in shopping malls, its not a problem. Just make reservations at any restaurant that serves great food and the party can continue!
